I've written a lot of letters to the editor. I'm not one of the Tribune's regular every thirty day writers but I cranked out quite a few. When I was on the School Board I probably wrote an average of better than one a year. Sometimes I wanted to write two in succession but was prevented from doing so as quickly as I wanted by the thirty day rule.

I don't know when I'll get arround to doing this fully but I'm putting in the latest letter I've written. This is meant to be a historical document so I'll give some explanation of each so that each letter will have some context.

8-24-2004 On a Second Exit from Central High School

This letter was prompted when a week earlier the residents of a street near Central High School got a day's worth of publicity for airing their criticism of an improved second exit from the High School.
